INTRO
From the moment I got my drivers license, up until I moved in late 2019, I was a dedicated Disneyland Annual Passholder! Saying I love Disney would be an understatement. My friends have always known me as a Disney girl, and I've always had a passion for all things Disney. Growing up, I was fed on a diet of Disney movies and magic! I fell head over heels in love with all of the stories, music and animation. As I got older and realized I wanted to pursue art and design, I dreamed about becoming a Disney animator. I used to watch in awe at Disneyland, as sketch artists would bring beloved Disney characters to life. Although I never ended up pursuing that dream exactly, opting for a degree in Visual Communications at FIDM instead, my love for Disney never waned.
AP DAYS
Disneyland has been the backdrop of so many memorable milestones in my life. During my teenage years, my friends and I would visit the parks on weekends, holidays, and summer breaks. Later on in high school, Disneyland made for the perfect date night. When I had a child of my own, Disneyland was one of the first outings I took him on. Throughout my son's childhood, we would head to the Parks for mommy-and-me time and weekly playdates. We would bring our lunch and enjoy our meals in magical spots, like the bridge of the castle, or the picnic area by Small World. I took both of my foster babies to Disneyland as well, and they loved it! We celebrated so many special events there. It was a truly magical time.
THE MAGIC
Disney has always been a bright spot in my life. If I was having a bad day, I'd head to the parks by myself. I'd stroll through Downtown Disney, grab some coffee, and enjoy the shopping and dining. From the moment I walked onto Disney grounds, the ambiance would immediately lift my spirits. The music, smells, shops, snacks and smiles always cheered me up!
TODAY
Now that I've moved out of California, I enjoy sharing all of the magic Disney has bestowed upon me, with you. Currently, I'm having a blast writing on the MiceChat team. I've also been busy working on a couple of print articles for DLR Magazine. Keep an eye out for my next feature in the winter issue. You can check out my other contributions in the Links tab. Thank you so much for joining me, as we celebrate all things Disney together. I look forward to connecting with you, my fellow Disney lovers and aficionados!
